Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across long distances.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a flatbed driver preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.

Pay - 22% of load

• Current CDL License
