We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. Responsibilities: • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large • Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners  • Work closely with borrowers, internal staff, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements • Work live transfers & self-generated leads – Turn them into closed loans • Expand your network – Realtors, builders, financial advisors & more • Own your pipeline – Deliver elite customer service & high close rates • Collaborate with top processors & underwriters – Get deals done fast • Stay sharp – Leverage ongoing training & market insights to stay ahead Qualifications: • Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred • Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines • Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required • Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry • Current California NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration • 1-5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer • Originated FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and the company's underwriting policies and guidelines • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • Active NMLS License & mortgage sales experience – No rookies here • Confident, sales-driven closer – You thrive in a fast-paced, high-reward setting • Pipeline builder – You don’t wait for deals, you create them • A natural networker – You know how to build relationships & referrals • Competitive & hungry – Your hustle determines your paycheck • If you’re ready to close more loans, earn more money, and grow fast , this is your shot.
