We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven  Executive Director, Sales  to lead our sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and establish strong relationships with clients. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technical products and solutions, coupled with excellent sales and negotiation skills. 

You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and driving business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions. 
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to provide technical support and ensure seamless implementation of solutions. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers. 
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively. 
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitors to identify new opportunities and areas for growth. 
  • Train and mentor junior sales representatives and technical sales teams. 
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. 

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering. A master’s degree or an additional business degree is a plus. 
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in technical sales, business development, or account management. 
  • Strong technical knowledge in the optical connectivity market. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to understand complex technical products and explain them at an executive level, with strong business orientation 
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills. 
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed. 

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in Optical Transceiver products. 
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
  • Familiarity with GTM strategy, forecasting, and pipeline management.
