Donation Warehouse Associate

Part-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt, Tuesday – Saturday 

Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that sells new as well as gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more to raise funds for Milwaukee Habitat. We're looking to add a Part-Time Retail Associate to work in our donation warehouse unloading and loading donations. 

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong verbal communication skills to allow for proper interaction with customers

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and take in donations at the Donation Center. 
• Price the incoming donations.
• Assist customers with carrying out their purchases.
• Work side by side with Volunteers in a team environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Positive attitude, energetic and committed to being at work for scheduled shifts.
• Able to adapt quickly to rapid changes and unexpected shifts in priorities.
• Takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and has a professional demeanor.
• Frequent use of moving equipment to move items; the majority of your day is spent standing or walking. 
• Ability to frequently and safely lift and maneuver furniture, appliances, and building material weighing up to 50 pounds.
